Police believe alcohol played a role in a crash in Butler Township that sent the driver to the hospital.
The accident happened on around midnight on February 12th on Route 8 at the split just before the Picklegate heading south.
Butler Township Police say 37-year-old Crystal Johnson of Butler went into the median and then hit a street sign and a utility pole.
Johnson was injured and taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
She is charged with driving under the influence and other traffic offenses.
