Those looking for an outdoor activity to enjoy with a canine companion later this week should check out Moraine State Park.
The Park Naturalist is leading a Fall Fido Dog Hike from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hill Top Trailhead on the South Shore.
Participants will learn about dog safety on the tail and what to carry to keep the hike enjoyable. Hikers will be heading around the just over one mile short loop which is a moderate to easy trail.
Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome. Owners must also pick up after dogs. Those planning to attend should wear sturdy hiking boots, dress for the weather, and bring drinking water. All current health guidelines will be followed.
