Anyone interested in learning more about a historic oil well are invited to Moraine State Park this weekend to view a well in action.
On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Muddy Creek Oil Well will be open for tours. Volunteers will also be on site to operate the engine and to answer questions about the award-winning restoration site.
The well is located in Prospect beyond the State Parks Region 2 office on Park Road.
Saturday’s event is free to attend. COVID guidelines including social distancing and mask wearing will be followed.
