The Moniteau girls softball team lost in the PIAA tournament first round 8-7 to Everett Monday. Everett moves on to meet WPIAL champion Deer Lakes Thursday in the state quarterfinals, after Deer Lakes defeated Marion Center 4-1.
The Seneca Valley boys volleyball team will meet Fox Chapel at North Allegheny high school tonight in the PIAA semi-finals. The match begins at 7pm.
