The West Virginia Miners defeated the Butler BlueSox 4-0 last night in the Prospect League. The Sox managed just three hits in the game. Cole Shinsky pitched into the sixth inning for the BlueSox. He allowed two runs on three hits, while striking out six. The Sox are off today, then host Lafayette tomorrow night at 7:05pm for Butler Radio Network night at the ballpark.The Altoona Curve defeated the Akron RubberDucks 7-1 last night in Akron. The Curve are now 52-45 overall, and move to within six games of first-place Akron.
