A local school district is holding a fundraiser to benefit a worthy cause.
The students and faculty of the Mars Area School District will hold a “Gold Out” fundraiser on Tuesday to collect for the Pennsylvania State University THON.
Students and faculty are encouraged to wear gold in support of the Penn State University Interfraternity Council Panhellenic Dance Marathon. This event benefits the Four Diamonds which supports children being treated for cancer at Penn State Children’s Hospital.
Monetary donations can be dropped off at the school’s main office during school hours. Checks should be made payable to “Penn State Dance Marathon”.
