The Mars Area School District is looking for parents interested in joining advisory committees about special and gifted education.
At least two parent representatives from each district building are needed for a Special Education committee as well as the same for a Gifted Education committee.
Each parent chosen to join the committee will be responsible for attending quarterly meetings, organizing trainings for parents, providing input to district administrators, and advocating for all students within the district.
Applications can be found on the Mars Area School District website and completed applications are due to the district’s Director of Special Education by this Friday (tomorrow).
