Thousands of residents in southern Butler County are dealing with a power outage.
According to West Penn Power, over 11,000 customers mostly in Adams and Forward Townships as well as Mars Borough experienced power loss beginning around 3 p.m.
It’s unclear at this time what caused the outage but power is expected to be restored by sometime early Wednesday evening.
