
A man charged with stabbing two men at a park in the City of Butler in 2023 has agreed to a plea deal.
19-year-old Dartavion Johnson of Butler entered into a plea agreement for stabbing two men in Rotary Park in the Island neighborhood in September of 2023.
In the plea agreement, Johnson will serve between 24 and 60 months in prison, pay court and restitution fees, and have probationary conditions upon his release.
In return Johnson pled guilty to one count of felony aggravated assault.
Johnson has received 530 days of time served which is just over 17 months but he has also pled guilty to an incident that happened in the prison.
This plea added an additional eight to 24 months on his sentence along with similar requirement to pay fees and follow probationary conditions upon his release.
