A New Kensington man was arrested after he nearly hit a state police officer with his car at a sobriety check point.
Kittanning State Police say 26-year-old Terrell Leonard was driving at the intersection of Routes 28 and 356 on Saturday August 31st when he allegedly drove through a sobriety check point and nearly hit an officer.
Leonard wrecked a short distance later and was arrested.
Police found drugs and drug paraphernalia in his car. He was placed in the Butler County Prison.
