We’re learning more about a large police presence in Adams Township last night after a shooting and search for the gunman.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV, police responded to a house in the 1000 block of Mars-Evans City road when a man reportedly shot at one of his parents and then took off.
Police blocked off portions of the road and called in a helicopter and canine units to help with the search.
The man was eventually caught and is in police custody. There were no reports of anyone being injured in last night’s incident. The man’s name has not been revealed.
