A Mercer man is facing charges following an incident of alleged fraud earlier this summer in neighboring Mercer County.
Ace Hardware reported to Grove City Police that over the course of two days in July, 50 year old Dennison Keith Wheeler II made three purchases totaling nearly $5,000.
Ace later received notification from the credit company that the charges made by Wheeler were fraudulent and he was not an authorized user of the credit card.
Wheeler has been charged with the third degree felony Theft by Deception.
