A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing a woman in Butler City earlier this month.
Police were called to a home on the 200 block of Second Street in Butler on February 11 for a reported stabbing.
When police arrived on scene, they met with 63-year-old Jon Broadnax of Butler who told police he got into an argument with a woman and stabbed her.
Police then went to where the woman had gone after the alleged stabbing and found her to have been bleeding.
Police have charged Broadnax with aggravated assault and had a nonmonetary bail set. A preliminary hearing has been set for March 17.
