A local man is facing multiple charges for two separate thefts at two different stores on two different days.
On September 14, 42-year-old William Derrick of Butler is accused of entering a Walmart and stealing an electric toy car valued at $129. Five days later, just before 2:45am at the Tractor Supply in Butler Derrick has been accused of removing a security cable from a go cart valued at just under $700.
He has been charged with retail theft for the first crime and for the second he also faces retail theft along with receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief.
