A Slippery Rock man was placed in the Butler County Prison after he allegedly attempted to break into two homes in Butler City.
Police were called to the 500 block of Second Street on Friday around 4 a.m. for an alleged burglar and home owner fighting in the street.
When police arrived on scene, they found a home owner fighting with 27-year-old Tristen Galarza.
The homeowner accused Galarza of attempting to break into the home. Witnesses on scene provided police with video evidence that Galarza had attempted to break into their home earlier in the morning.
Galarza has been charged with two counts of criminal trespassing and criminal attempt. He placed in the prison on $25,000 bail and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
