Students at a local school are holding a collection this week to benefit the Butler County Humane Society.
The drive at Mars Area Centennial School will take place Monday through Friday.
Items being collected include: canned dog and cat food, treats, leashes, heating pads, paper towels, garbage bags, newspaper, blankets and sheets. A complete list of items can be found on the website of the Humane Society.
Donations can be dropped off at the school’s main office during school hours.
