The first of two opportunities to learn more about being the difference for a child in need will take place at several local eateries in Butler on Friday.
Family Pathways is holding a meet-and-greet on Friday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pennie’s Bake Shop and Espresso Bar in the city of Butler and at both locations of Cummings’ Coffee- one on Main Street in Butler and another at Cummings West on Route 68 in Connoquenessing.
Anyone considering becoming a foster parent is invited to stop by and speak with representatives. Approximately 15,000 children are in Pennsylvania’s foster care system.
Another meet-and-greet will be held at the same time and locations on Friday, May 24.
