A new bill from the state house aims to boost entrepreneurial attitudes for youngsters under 18.
It’s called “free the lemonade stand” bill and it would allow kids to operate a business without a license if their profits are under $5,000 and open for less than 84 days each year.
The bill came to be after a lawmaker found out that some municipalities were targeting lemonade stands and yard sales with “third party agencies.”
The bill passed unanimously and now moves to the state senate.
