A Butler County Common Pleas judge has dismissed a lawsuit brought forward against Connoquenessing Township and a supervisor.
Earlier this month, Common Pleas Judge Kelly Streib dismissed a civil suit against Connoquesnessing Township and supervisor Ricky Kradel.
In the ruling, Streib says the township employee handbook was not an ordinance and had not been codified into a law, so the rules in the book are not legally enforceable. The ruling also says the six members that sued the township and Kradel failed to follow the collective bargaining agreement by not reporting Kradel’s alleged violations to another supervisor.
The six township employees accused Kradel of work place harassment, sexual harassment, and discrimination.
