Knoch head football coach Frank Whalen has stepped down from the program. The 54-year old Whalen cited travel due to his employment as the reason he is stepping away from the game after coaching football for 32 years. The Knights just completed a 5-5 season. They were 9-10 overall under Whalen. Knoch will return a solid core of its team from this season next year, including running back Matt Goodlin, who set the all-time single-season rushing mark in 2018.
