The Knoch baseball team defeated Donegal 8-2 Wednesday to advance into the PIAA Triple-A championship game Friday. Starting pitcher Alex Stobert led the Knights with a complete game victory, limiting Donegal to six hits. He allowed one walk and struck out six. 
The Knights had 8 runs on 12 hits. Knoch jumped out to a 4-0 lead and added four runs late in the game after Donegal cut the lead in half.
Knoch will face Abington Heights in the championship game Friday afternoon at Penn State University. Cole Shinsky will start the game for Knoch in their first-ever state title game. First pitch is 12:30pm.
