An organization that holds educational STEAM activities for students when they’re out of school is receiving a statewide grant.
The Kids Innovation Playground in Slippery Rock received $81,000 from a statewide grant.
It will go toward adding more classes and increasing their Tech Tinkering program.
The Kids Innovation Playground started as a way to bring additional STEAM opportunities to children in rural areas.
