Brad Keselowski won his third Nascar Cup Series race in a row, taking the checkered flag for the post-season opening race at Las Vegas. Kyle Larson was second. Keselowski earns his way into the playoff “Round of 12” with the win. The drivers head to Richmond this Saturday night.

J.R. Todd won the NHRA playoff-opening Funny Car race in Eastern Pennsylvania. Steve Torrence won the Top Fuel race.
