A local lawmaker will join several colleagues for a conversation about Internal Revenue Service monitoring of bank accounts.
As ranking member of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Oversight, Republican U.S. Congressman Mike Kelly of Butler is participating in a roundtable discussion on Thursday at 10 a.m.
Kelly will join House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and four other House Republicans to build on a roundtable Kelly held earlier this week. Kelly maintains that Democrats would like to expand the powers of the IRS in order to pay for an expanded social program agenda.
This presentation will be streamed live on the House Republican Leader’s website.
