Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes overcame a sprained ankle, suffered in the Chiefs first game of this season’s playoffs, and was named the game’s Most Valuable Player. He threw for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and even scrambled 26 yards on the final drive, helping to set up a Harrison Butker 27-yard field goal with eight seconds remaining in regulation.
