Longtime Butler County Judge Tim McCune will be retiring at the end of the year.
McCune has served in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas since he was first elected in 2005.
Prior to his time on the Court of Common Pleas, he was the Butler County District Attorney for 16 years.
With McCune retiring, that will open two seats in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas as the court will add a seat due to growing population in the county.
