The park naturalist at a local state park will welcome guests at an event later this week that will focus on the owls who reside in Pennsylvania.
On Thursday an “Owl Prowl” will take place at 6 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley launch area on the South Shore of Moraine State Park. After a short discussion, attendees will go in search of various owls.
Attendees are asked to bring a face mask or covering, dress for the weather, and to bring a flashlight if they have one. Social distancing will also be followed.
Registration is required for the event, which will conclude around 8:30 p.m. To register, call the park office.
