First responders were busy yesterday afternoon after icy conditions led to a number of crashes across the county.
Mixed precipitation moved into the area starting around 2 p.m. yesterday, which turned some area roads into ice.
Butler City crews opted to shut down the General Richard Butler Bridge due to an accident and icy conditions.
There was also an accident on Route 422 in Clearfield Township, which had a vehicle roll over onto its side. At least one person was taken to the hospital as a result of that crash.
Road crews spent hours salting roads after the icy conditions moved in.
