A portion of I-79 southbound have been closed from route 108 to 422.
Power lines are down on I-79 Southbound in the Slippery Rock area, all traffic going southbound is being directed to take a detour 108 to route 19.
PennDOT is being contacted to shut down the power lines. There is no update on when the highway will be reopened.
