As we get closer to the winter months and holidays, the Department of Health is encouraging residents to stay up-to-date on their vaccinations.
Officials say with the combination of cold weather and holiday gatherings, respiratory viruses can spread much easier.
They say flu and COVID vaccinations are especially important for those who are high-risk groups, including those 65 and older. In order to be eligible for an RSV vaccine, you must be over 60-years-old or in your third trimester of pregnancy.
So far, health officials say the number of flu and COVID cases has remained relatively low.
