Police in neighboring Mercer County are continuing to investigate what is believed to be a homicide that occurred earlier this week.
According to Grove City Police, officers were dispatched to a medical emergency just before 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Broad Street.
Officers found a 53-year-old male in need of medical care but also discovered a deceased female at the location. The Mercer County Coroner responded to the scene and ruled the death a homicide.
Police are not releasing the name of either person at this time and are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this situation.
