The Pennsylvania Game Commission is asking for the public’s help in finding turkey flocks.
The agency has been working on monitoring turkey populations and using the data to help track where turkeys are moving.
The Game Commission will put a leg band on male turkeys—and if hunters either harvest or find one of the turkeys they’re asked to report it to the commission.
Hunters can do that by either calling, emailing, or now visiting the website to allow for direct reporting.
The turkey flocks reporting is happening through March 15th.
