Furniture Row Racing has announced they will cease operations after the completion of this season in the Monster Energy Cup Series due to a lack of necessary funding to field a competitive team. This will make the 2017 Cup Series champion, Martin Truex, Jr., a free agent. Truex, Jr. will begin his defense of that title following this Sunday’s race at The Brickyard.
