Temperatures dipped into the 20s early Friday, which prompted a Frost Advisory by the National Weather Service.
“Frost and freeze conditions may damage sensitive vegetation. Take steps to protect plants from the cold,” according to the NWS.
At 6 a.m. Friday, temperatures in the city of Butler dropped to 29 degrees.
The NWS is forecasting a high of 56 on Friday with increasing clouds as we move throughout the day. Rain is likely on Friday night, with temperatures expected to stay well above freezing at 45.
