There were seven additional deaths and 245 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County Friday.
There have now been 117 county residents to die from COVID-19 according to the Department of Health.
The daily update also reported 391 negative tests, giving the DOH’s daily report a 38.5 percent positivity rate.
Statewide there were 12,745 new cases, 225 additional deaths, and around 16,000 negative tests.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 54 patients for the coronavirus, with 14 COVID patients in the ICU.
