Butler County has now surpassed 300 total deaths due to COVID-19.
According to Friday’s update by the Department of Health, there were seven additional deaths for the county—which brings the death toll to 306.
There were also 72 new cases of COVID-19 reported today.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 35 patients for the coronavirus, with five COVID patients in the ICU.
Statewide, there were 5,338 new cases of COVID-19 and 193 additional deaths.
