There were 52 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Friday.
That keeps the death toll at 402 for the county according to the Department of Health.
As of the time of this report, the latest hospitalization figures from Butler Memorial Hospital were unavailable. As of Wednesday morning, the hospital was treating 12 patients for the coronavirus, with three COVID patients in the ICU.
For the first time in a number of weeks, hospitalizations have actually declined in Pennsylvania. The latest numbers from the DOH show just over 2,700 people are being treated for COVID. That’s down nearly 100 since Monday.
There were 4,188 new cases of COVID-19 statewide, and 59 additional deaths.
