There were 51 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County on Friday.
That is the most ever recorded in a day for the county, according to the state Department of Health.
Today’s report also comes with 349 negative tests, giving it a 12.8 percent positivity rate.
Overall the state added 2,219 positive cases, 33 additional deaths, and around 15,000 negative tests.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating four patients for the coronavirus, with one person in the ICU.
