The Freeport High School girls’ varsity soccer team advanced to the quarterfinals of the WPIAL Playoffs on Saturday after a 3-0 win over North Catholic.
Maddie Wagner was the winning goalie, and made eight saves in the shutout effort. Freeport will play South Park on Wednesday at a site and time to be determined.
