Less than a year after the Fern Hollow Bridge collapsed in Pittsburgh, it is set to reopen this week.
PennDOT officials say line painting and other finishing touches happened yesterday ahead of a dedication ceremony set for this afternoon. Governor Tom Wolf will be on hand to cut the ribbon.
However, it may not reopen to traffic right away, but is expected to happen within the week.
The reconstruction of the Fern Hollow Bridge cost $25 million.
