With record-setting numbers of people flying over the holidays, the FBI is urging flyers to be “air aware” when traveling.
One area deals with firearms, as the TSA once again saw another year where they confiscated guns at security checkpoints. Firearms can be taken onto an airplane, only if they were properly stored and checked. There are significant fines if you bring a weapon through security.
Officials also say that passengers should beware of in-flight sexual assaults. They encourage people to be vigilant and to talk with the flight crew if you don’t feel comfortable.
