Charges have been filed against a man from Emlenton after he’s accused of being so belligerent that he disrupted the entire Emergency Department at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Daniel Jones, 59, is facing DUI and disorderly conduct charges following an incident in September.
According to State Police, Jones crashed his motorcycle on Oneida Valley Road in Center Township in the early morning hours of Sept. 16. Police allege he attempted to flee the scene following the crash, but passed out due to intoxication in an adjacent junk yard where he was found by troopers.
Police allege Jones was ‘extremely uncooperative and combative’ towards EMS workers and troopers. Once he arrived at the ER, he’s accused of screaming obscenities so loudly that it disturbed the entire department.
