The next Butler County Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection will be this weekend.
Residents looking to get rid of things they can’t just put in the trash can stop by ECS&R (Environmental Coordination Services & Recycling) on Ash Stop Road in Evans City (across from the Forward Township Building) on Saturday. You do need to make an appointment and nominal fees apply.
Items that will be accepted include computers, printers, air conditioners, dorm-size refrigerators, televisions, cell phones and VCRs.
Future collections will be held on Saturdays through the year.
