
Multiple crews were needed to help rescue a donkey from a pond in Cranberry Township.
The incident happened Friday night in Cranberry when crews were alerted that a donkey fell into a pond. Cranberry firefighters were called along with a Beaver County animal rescue team and Butler’s water rescue team.
Crews were able to get the donkey out of the water and took it to a nearby garage, where it was treated by a veterinarian.
Cranberry crews say the rescue was successful and the donkey is doing well.
