The first of four local presentations focusing on diversity will be held this weekend in Cranberry Township.
The Cranberry Area Diversity Network will screen a movie from noon to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Cranberry Library’s Franklin Station room.
First in the series is “Joyeux Noel” – a 2005 French drama about the Christmas truce during World War I. The movie is rated PG-13. A facilitated discussion will follow the movie.
Complementary snacks and water are provided. However, due to limited seating and planning for refreshments, advance registration is required online through the Cranberry Township website.
A screening of the 1982 classic Gandhi is planned for January 18th followed by other movies February 8th and March 7th.
The Cranberry Area Diversity Network focuses on creating programs designed to welcome visitors and new residents from different cultures into the Township.
