The New Jersey Devils scored three third period goals to defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2 last night at PPG Paints Arena, snapping the Pens five-game win streak. It was also the Penguins sixth straight loss to the Devils. The Pens went 0-fo-3 on power plays, and goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped just 25 of 30 shots. Bryan Rust scored both Penguins goals, he now has nine on the season.
The Penguins play back-to-back games this weekend. They visit the Carolina Hurricanes Saturday night for a 7pm face-off. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:30pm.
The Pens return home to host the Vegas Golden Knights Sunday night. Face-off is 6pm. WISR pre-game begins at 5:30pm.
