Def Leppard Developing “Drastically Different” Show For Summer Tour

Def Leppard is set to start their Summer Stadium Tour with Journey in St. Louis on Saturday. The Sheffield, England rock legends will also have new music to work into their setlists with their latest single, “Just Like ’73.” Guitarist Phil Collen says their fans should expect plenty of other surprises from Def Leppard’s upcoming shows as well. “We changed the whole set,” Collen told Ultimate Classic Rock. “The stage show is drastically different.” The band has been rehearsing and prepping for the tour in St. Louis, with Collen admitting that he has been training for the show physically as well as musically. “It’s going to take a lot of energy. There’s going to be a lot of running around,” Collen said. “So I’m working out, trying to get the stamina up. Vocally, too. I’m having to sing every single day.” (Ultimate Classic Rock)
