
Two accidents during the evening commute on Tuesday slowed traffic in two different areas of Butler County.
A portion of Route 68 in Butler Township was closed after a driver crashed a car into a pole near Butler First Church of the Nazarene.
The crash happened about 5 p.m. at the intersection of Route 68 and Oakdale Road, next to the church. Power lines were brought down across Route 68. The driver- a woman- reportedly suffered minor injuries.
Another crash- also around 5 p.m. Tuesday- was reported in Muddy Creek Township, near the intersection of Fisher and Curry roads.
A driver reportedly crashed into a tree.
