Members of the Cranberry Township Police force are being recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty.
Four officers were celebrated at last week’s Board of Supervisors meeting for their efforts in helping during a kitchen fire that happened back in July.
Police officers Steve Berg, Christopher Maloney, Tiffani Shaffer and James Cirpriani responded to the home and help knocked down the fire with extinguishers they carry in the police cars.
Fire officials in Cranberry said damage was limited in the home thanks to the quick response from the four officers.
