Cranberry Township’s newly expanded Park Fire Station on Route 19 is about to officially open and the occasion will be marked with a special event later this week.
On Saturday (May 11th), a public open house will be held from 9am until 11am. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the station, which is a two story structure with many features including overnight dormitory-style rooms and a kitchen for volunteers. A special glass-enclosed exhibit room is located at the building’s front, and showcases the station’s first engine.
A complimentary pancake breakfast will also be served prior to a formal 11:15am dedication ceremony.
